SunDAY ARTISTS
2004

12.00 EYES AND EARS
LEVEL 2

A slightly more challenging warm up to work out those Saturday indulgences.

13.00 CHEAP BENT ELECTRODE

Voice, laptop and the human camera collide with a dervish of whirling images in a short, intense explosion.

13.45 T7K (t_wocsinak/teambric_k)

Improvised lo-fi noise meets fancy computer processing while black-felt-tip fantasies unfold overhead.

14.30 GUTTERSNIPE

An archaeology of the gutter; an audio-visual meditation on the line where a Brislington street meets the world.

15.05 HOW THE WEST WAS ONE

Three award winning short films and a live VJ set. All created from the pool of talent that is young people in Knowle West. Done in collaboration with Joe Magee, The Knowle West Media Centre, Yeast and the Detached Youth Work Project.

16.15 LIMBO Vs GERALD TYLER

A series of eight dreams, vocalised by a poet and scored with gorgeous Shetland Halibut jazz.

17.15 MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE

The body and the built: movement and architectural space explored in a collaboration fusing live performance and moving image.

18.15 CHALK

Crucial live electro-acoustic duo: Neil Young fronting Nine Inch Nails produced by King Tubby.

19.00 BUG PLANET

Stunningly shot nature film meets cult sci-fi in a live mix of insect sound and vision, integrating original sounds in a weave of deep microhouse.

20.15 THE FABRICS

Summer be-bop-ragtime jazz licks n' vocals collide with massive glitch-drum-n'-bass backing for big dance-floor bonus points.

21.15 PLAN 8

Ending the weekend with a bounteous feast of Asian fusion music, Bhangra, dancers, drummers and bigtime Bollywood visuals.
